Rucker Farm has become Solstice Beef Company. This transition allows us to provide a more consistent supply of grass-fed beef to everyone who has been patient with us along the way. The pre-existing management style aligns closely with the values and practices we strive for with Rucker Farm, including intensive rotational grazing, specific breeding seasons, and a focus on epigenetics to ensure long-term herd health.
For this herd to continue growing, it needs more invested hands on deck, and we’re excited to step in. This partnership allows us to make a positive impact on the land while also expanding our own farming experience and education. This opportunity also gives us access to more leased land as Rucker Farm operations continue to grow!
This year will look a bit different for us, as we anticipate hosting fewer events. My (Isabelle’s) focus has shifted more towards the children, while Garrett is concentrating on scaling our farm in a way that honors our values. Through it all, our commitment to learning, growth, and doing what we love remains stronger than ever.
At its core, this transition is about extending the family farm—one of the guiding principles of Rucker Farm. We see this as an opportunity to build upon our foundation, nurture the land, and continue providing you with the highest quality products, as well as a story you can connect with. We want our family farm to remain strong for generations to come as we continue to bring education and lived experience to what we do!
